BBQ Sauce on a Spoon...

For more than 20 years Matt and Athena have been hearing comments like "Oh boy this is good...you really have to bottle this sauce!".... "Can I take some of this home".... "Can I buy a pint of this"...and so on and so on!

Well, at long last the answers to the questions above are 'Yes', 'Yes', and 'not a pint, but how about a 12 Oz bottle'.

The sauce was first available for sale at the original Abbey's Real Texas BBQ Miramar Rd. restaurant early this year, and after only a few months on the market we have done tastings and demos in Costco, Henry's Market, Iowa Meats, Ciesels Market, Major Market, Local Street Fair's and more.

Maybe the best secrets of of our sauce is the added beer, the liquid smoke, molasses and collection of spices. "This stuff is good just off the spoon" was a recent comment from a Texan who tasted the sauce at a demo. While it is good just straight onto a spoon, we usually serve it on the Brisket, Ribs, Chicken, and ham. Many like it on our turkey too. Others spread it around on the beans. How ever you do, just come on in and do it!

We started with the very popular original BBQ Sauce, but have now added a new Abbey's Texas Bar-B-Q Hot Sauce. It's pretty much the good 'ol Abbeys sauce with Habanero. This you'll really like! You wont find our Hot BBQ sauce on the Bar-B-Q shelf, markets are putting this stuff on the hot sauce shelf. And, in addition to the new Hot BBQ Sauce, we have now bottled up our own marinade.
